Refugee riots[edit]
Sometime between 2552 and 2558, Valles Marineris was the site of a series of refugee riots. During one of these, rioters created a barricade of furniture just outside of an office building in the Tenderloin District, throwing bottles at soldiers and Diplomatic Corps envoy Melody Azikiwe and her staff.[1]
