[[SPARTAN-IV Program|Spartan]] [[Jared Miller]] is personally assigned to Crimson as their mission handler. As the other Spartan teams pursue their own objectives, Crimson is dropped behind enemy lines to assist Marines in neutralizing [[Jul 'Mdama's Covenant|Covenant]] forces in the area. In a attempt to stop the Covenant from establishing permanent bases throughout Requiem, Crimson is also given the objective to destroy four power cores acting as short-range wireless transceivers.
