Weapon System Technology (initialism WST,[2] plural "Weapon System Technologies"), is a human military manufacturer that is the maker of the DTM series of shotguns,[3] various weapon attachments[4] and equipment[5] for the United Nations Space Command, military, civilian market, and law enforcement.[3]
Overview
Research and development
As a result of Misriah Armory's M45 shotgun proving efficient during many MOUT operations during the Insurrection, WST introduced the economical and practical version of the M45E shotgun in the form of the M90A shotgun.[6][7]
Contracts
Weapon System Technology allows Misriah Armory to produce at least one model of the DTM series, the M90A,[1] with Misriah featuring the weapon in advertising.[2]
Advertising and sales
The WST DTM series of shotguns are sold in 20gauge to 10guage in the civilian market, with 8gauge only being sold in law enforcement and military agencies.[3] The M90 Shroud for the Mk50 Sidekick is marketed towards police and self-defence markets.[4]

History
Insurrection
During the Insurrection, as a result of Misriah Armory M45 shotgun proving to be effective, WST introduced the economical and practical version of the M45E shotgun in the form of the M90A shotgun,[6] this eventually lead to the M90 dominating in the military and private sector.[7]
Human-Covenant war
During the Human-Covenant War, around 2552 WST advertised their company round New Mombasa.[2]
Production notes
The name "WST" likely comes from the 1999-era third-person builds of Halo: Combat Evolved, where the shotgun was named the "WSTE-M90 sacs" where the name derived, like all other weapons in the build, from the shotgun in Bungie's Marathon series, the WSTE-M5.[10] The names from said build were all named by Robt McLees.[11]
