This article is about the Forerunner naval weapon. For the similarly-named battlefield equipment created by the Banished, see disruption emitter.
A disruption generator is a kind of weapon system employed aboard Forerunner Guardian Custodes. Each Guardian carries one such weapon.[1] Little is known of their function.
The artificial intelligence assemblies of the Created have developed an infantry-scale one-use disruption generator, intended for use by their Executor supersoldiers. Termed the Shroudshot Augmentor, the device is an experimental, shoulder-mounted equipment intended for use against organic threats.[2] It is unclear whether the Shroudshot Augmentor shares any relation with the United Nations Space Command-issued Shroud Screen.
