Human-Covenant war[edit]
Asphodel was a destination listed at the Manassas Spaceport on Reach in the summer of 2552,[2] and the colony survived the entire Human-Covenant War without being discovered by the Covenant.[1]

- Asphodel is likely named after the Asphodel Meadows, the part of the underworld where normal souls would remain after death, according to Greek mythology.
