An incendiary weapon is a weapon designed to start fires or destroy sensitive equipment using incendiary materials.
The Flamethrower is a weapon unique to the multiplayer of Halo PC and Halo Mac, despite plans for it to be included in Halo 1 and Halo 2.  The M7057 Defoliant Projector is a standard chemical flamethrower which projects and ignites a stream of volatile, semi-liquid adhesive.  Flamethrowers are cumbersome, difficult to aim, and effective only at a short range.  However, they are excellent suppression weapons, and against Flood, unshielded enemies or structures they are devastating. Has an unsettling likeness to the Brute Shot from Halo 2.

In an early version of the level Keyes, the Master Chief uses a flamethrower to burn up the Brain Form. It was removed because they did not want to destory the Keyes Blob, which the creator had worked so hard on. If they just burned it up, people would never get to see all the details and work the creator went through to make him.
