- Operation: CHARLEMAGNE begins: The Eridanus insurrection is defeated by UNSC forces at the cost of four destroyers.[1] With ORION soldiers being deployed for the first time. However, the rebel forces remain active in the system, with their command elements escaping.[2] into the asteroid belt, with raids happening since.[1]
- A group of ORION Project operatives attack the rebels in a swift and silent special operation that results in only one casualty for the ORIONs and several crippling losses for the rebels.[3]

- Starting this year, all Diligence-class light destroyers are fitted with two powerful outrigger MAC systems— one on each side of its main fuselage.[4]
