Installation 01 is a fan-made first-person shooter Halo game built on the Unity engine. The project was made to recreate the multiplayer experience of the Bungie-era Halo titles, specifically, Halo 2 and Halo 3, although elements of Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo: Reach are present. The game will be free to play on all PC platforms.[1]
History[edit]
The first public version of the game was shared on a Halo Waypoint forum post in August 2014.[2] The team behind the game released their first ViDoc in August 2016.[3] A cinematic trailer for the game was released in May 2017.[4] As of now Installation 01 is still a work in progress. Regular updates are made on the Installation 01 website.[5]
