| Spartan A-297 was born on [[Harvest]] in the year 2510, just ten years prior to [[Humanity|Humanity's]] first encounter with [[The Covenant]] in 2525. Not much else is known about Spartan A-297's life prior to [[The Covenant|The Covenant's]] attack on [[Harvest]] in 2525. During the [[Harvest|Battle for Harvest]], both of Spartan A-297's parents would be killed by a member of [[Silent Shadow|The Silent Shadow]], an Elite [[Zealot]] known as N'tas 'Havrocom. During the encounter, the Sangheili's shield would overload giving A-297 enough time to plunge a combat knife into the elite's jaw before being kicked into a wall and losing consciousness. Spartan A-297 was later found lying unconscious by a squad of local militia, whereupon he was evacuated off of the planet and sent to a medical facility on [[Reach]] to recieve treatment for multiple fractured ribs. | |
