The Atlas Moons, as their name suggests, are the moons of the planet Atlas in the Valence system.[1][2]

History[edit]

The Atlas Moons were colonized by the Unified Earth Government in 2450.[1]

During the Human-Covenant War, the moons were attacked in 2538[1] and were the site of the Siege of the Atlas Moons, where UNSC forces fought the Covenant throughout the territory.[2] Ultimately, the moons were not glassed[1] and Vice Admiral Danforth Whitcomb was later recognized for his accomplishments during the battle.[2]
