Shuttle pods are a common component on space stations and larger capital ships. They allow inspection teams a clear view of the ship or station's exterior with precise thruster control and manoeuvring. They are useful for coordinating maintenance and repair work on spacecraft.[1]
History[edit]
Prior to the commencement of Operation: RED FLAG, Captain Jacob Keyes used a shuttle pod named Coda to assess the newly-refit Halcyon-class light cruiser UNSC Pillar of Autumn.[1][2][3]
