The PP-16979/AM-Sh is a recharger of batteries. It is used by the United Nations Space Command to recharge the BA-53635/PLMD that is integrated in the M6/R Spartan Laser.^[1]

PP-16979/AM-Sh are not fielded with the BA-53635/PLMD often due to logistic issues.^[1]
