Views of a Slipspace crate in Halo 4.

The slipspace crate is a quantum-shielded container used as part of the ONI's new MX-1050 Quantum Marker slipspace translocation technology.[1]

Description[edit]

The crates come in two different sizes, large and small, and are typically green and grey in color, with white light emanating from within the crate itself. The crates are marked with letter-number designations and markers, such as "UNSC EXT [0044 KC]". The crate-like devices performs as part of a slipspace-shielded containment area, upon which a translocation beacon is launched.

Gameplay[edit]

The slipspace crate is used in the Extraction gametype alongside the quantum marker system. It is also featured as a Forge object.[2]
