A gas grenade is a type of UNSC grenade designed to incapacitate an enemy by releasing irritating fumes into a vicinity.[1] Depending on the gas used, a gas grenade can be non-lethal or pose a serious inhalation hazard. It differs from a smoke grenade in that the former is meant to impede respiration, while the latter is designed to alter visibility.
