Greydowns was a human colony planet located in the Sefton system.[1]
History
Greydowns was established as a Unified Earth Government colony in the year 2373, the same year in which humanity also colonized Ballast.[1]
In 2549, during the Human-Covenant War, the Covenant's Fleet of Particular Justice, led by Supreme Commander Thel 'Vadamee, attacked and glassed the planet.[2][3][1]
Production notes
While stated to be a human-colonized world glassed by Thel 'Vadam's forces, Greydowns is clearly depicted as a gas giant; the planet is virtually identical to Jupiter in particular. While this may be a production error, it is possible that the colonies were located on the planet's moons, similar to the human colonies in the Jovian Moons.
