The UNSC Winged Hussar (hull classification symbol: DD-439), was a Diligence-class light destroyer in the UNSC Navy.[5]
Service history
The UNSC Winged Hussar served in the UNSC Navy until 2496 at the earliest, given the two underslung Magnetic Accelerator Cannons which were introduced to the class in this year.[5]
Trivia
The Winged Hussar was named after the Polish hussars, a formation of heavy cavalry often referred to as "winged hussars" for the large wings they attached to their saddles or their armor itself.
