The UNSC ''Brasidas'' participated in the [[Battle of Earth]] on [[2552#October|October 20, 2552]]. During the [[Battle of Mombasa]], ''Brasidas'' fired one of its [[Magnetic Accelerator Cannon]]s from orbit towards the surface of [[Earth]] to disable a {{Pattern|Protos|Scarab}} in the city of [[Mombasa]], [[Africa]] on [[Earth]]. With the Scarab disabled, [[UNSC Marines]] engaged the Scarab's surviving personnel in an attempt to recover the walker.{{Ref/Reuse|mombasa waypoint}}
