Durasteel is a metal plating used for armor. Orbital defense platforms such as the Moncton-class use cheap durasteel armor blends for protection.[1] This is contrasted by the use of Titanium-A battleplate for the armor protection on most UNSC starships.
Production notes[edit]
Durasteel is a reference to the metal alloy of the same name from the Star Wars universe.
