The Meluth'qelos-pattern fireblade, more commonly known as the energy sword, is a Covenant melee weapon manufactured by Merchants of Qikost.[1]
Overview
Design details

The Meluth'qelos-pattern fireblade is one of the many energy sword variants manufactured by the Covenant and inherited by the Banished.[1]
Usage
The Meluth'qelos-pattern fireblade is a weapon carried by high-ranking Sangheili in the Banished; during the Battle for Zeta Halo, it saw extensive use among Ultras, Warlords, Sangheili Special Operations Officers, and Honor Guards.[5] It is one of the more common designs adopted by the Banished.[1]
Variants
- Bloodblade - As with many other patterns of energy swords, the Meluth'qelos-pattern energy sword can be customized as a bloodblade, with red-colored plasma.[6]
- Duelist Energy Sword - A purplish-blue colored Meluth'qelos-pattern energy sword with a white hilt, granting the user increased movement speed. It was used by Okro 'Vagaduun during the Battle for Zeta Halo.[5]
