Tilik 'Bornisamee was a Sangheili in service with the Covenant towards the end of the Human-Covenant War.[1]

Biography[edit]

Tilik was the nephew of High Councilor K'hurk 'Bornisamee.[2] At the dawn of the Great Schism, K'hurk survived the High Councilor massacre led by Captain Melchus and abandoned the Covenant with his nephew. On November 3, 2552, Tilik was captured by the Covenant—along with Duru 'Scoahamee and K'hurk—and brought to the Trial Court for Tools of Conquest's chamber of Gravitational Refinement that same day.[1]

For conspiring with the Sangheili, the Prophet of Clarity was brought to the chamber by the Prophet of Exquisite Devotion and forced to watch the sadistic torture of the Sangheili. After Exquisite Devotion brutally murdered Duru by increasing the force of gravity in particular spots of his body, Melchus moved to make Tilik the next victim. When his pleas to be taken instead were ignored, K'hurk charged at the captain but he was simply knocked backwards by a stun-wave from Melchus' gravity hammer. However, Tilik boldly stepped forward, resigning to his fate. When Clarity refused to be the one to execute Tilik, Exquisite Devotion slowly murdered the Sangheili using the gravity adjustment controls. After his death, Clarity was taken away by Jiralhanae to be executed, while the Prophet gave K'hurk the same fate, although Clarity was able to escape moments later with the help of Sangheili allies.[2]
