Fist of the Unicorn was a band made up of crewmen from the UNSC Pillar of Autumn in 2552.
History[edit]
Notice of an encore performance scheduled for "Saturday 1600 hours" in the ship's main hangar was placed on the ship's bulletin board.[1] The band featured Specialist Van Kalletta on "lead guitarz" as well as replacement drummer PFC Dimitrov.
At some-point in their music career, alongside Ship It Pictures they were involved in the production of the movie 117: Heroes Never Die.
Trivia[edit]
- The numbers 0117 appear to be incorporated into the band's logo on the poster, partially obscured by Dimitrov's name.
- As the poster can be seen when the Pillar of Autumn arrives at Installation 04 on Tuesday September 19th, the performance would have been scheduled for Saturday the 23rd.
- The band is part of 343 Industries' running unicorn gag, which was referenced again in Halo 4 with the FOTUS armor.
- In the Halo 2: Anniversary campaign level Outskirts, there are posters on several walls advertising a Fist of the Unicorn cover band called "Fluke of the Narwal".
