The Yappening is the seventh multiplayer event in Halo Infinite, held during Season 02: Lone Wolves. It began on September 6, 2022, and it will last two weeks, until September 20. A blog post was posted on Halo Waypoint by Flipflop, one of Yayap's disciples, who's now working with the UNSC. The Yappening is focused on the Methane Menagerie playlist, consisted of several unique gametypes:

• BTB Fiesta Stockpile
• BTB Fiesta Total Control
• BTB Shotty Snipes
• BTB Skockets Slayer
• BTB Team Snipers

The Yappening event came with a 10-Tier Event Pass with exclusive customization options.
