| Special Operations Commander is a position/office among the normal [[Ultra Elites]], not an actual rank (much like how Battalion Commander is a position but Major or Lieutenant Colonel is the actual rank). Thus far, only one Ultra has been seen with this unique position, [[Rtas 'Vadumee]]. A special operations commander commands a troupe of [[Special Operations Elite]]s, much as the name of his position implies.

| It's armor is slightly different from that of a normal Ultra's. The armor is white, with a slightly darker variant of white as the secondary color (if you wanted to make one as your profile, you'd simply use white as both the primary and secondary color, since the secondary color is automatically darkened a little). Most of the time, the Special Operations Commanders are seen wielding Energy Swords, but can use any Covenant and UNSC weapon. They can also drive any human or covenant vehicle, but are only seen (if you're not forcing 'Vadumee to get into another vehicle) driving [[Spectre]]s and [[Wraith]]s.

| It is highly probable that other Elite castes hold this postion as well, depending on the size of the spec ops units they command. Spec Ops Elites are probably not commanded by anything lower ranked than another Spec Ops Elite, but larger units (larger than the one commanded by Rtas 'Vadumee) may be commanded by [[Zealots]], thus appearance of the armor may varey greatly. If [[Zuka 'Zamamee]] were in command of a spec ops unit then his unit was likely smaller than the unit 'Vadumee commanded, due to the fact that he was a black armored spec ops Elite himself and therefore a lower rank than 'Vadumee.

| The only known Spec Ops Commander is Rtas 'Vadumee, but it's probably more of them somewhere but no one else have been noticed yet.
