Mhelaat 'Orlam was the First Kaidon of the Sangheili during the War of Beginnings. Up until his assassination, he spoke for all of Sanghelios.[1]
Biography[edit]
'Orlam was the first to advocate for the careful reverse-engineering of the Sangheili's Forerunner artifacts, arguing that it was the only way for their species to survive and prevent the San'Shyuum from desecrating the artifacts themselves. The initial resistance was violent and fatal even for 'Orlam, who was soon assassinated. His son Pelahsar the Strident was undaunted and pressed forward with the first Forerunner-derived weapons test, eventually leading to the formation of the Covenant.[1]
