Charybdis IX was a UNSC colony world. The capital city is Scyllion.
It was one of Jacob Keyes' first assignments. It had a brief period of rioting in the 26th century. During the riots, the then "Junior Lieutenant" Keyes killed his first human being when he was forced to defend himself against an Insurrectionist leader.[1] Soon after, the Covenant arrived at Charybdis IX, and destroyed it.[2]
