Charybdis IX is a UNSC colony world.
It was one of Jacob Keyes' first assignments. It had a brief period of rioting in the 26th century. During the riots, the then "Junior Lieutenant" Keyes killed his first human being when he was forced to defend himself.[1] Soon after, the Covenant arrived at Charybdis IX, and destroyed it.[2]
Trivia
- In Greek mythology, Charybdis is the daughter of Poseidon. Originally a nymph, she was turned into a sea monster by Zeus.
