Freaked Out is the fifteenth track in Halo Wars: Original Soundtrack.

Overview[edit]

The track opens with a short drumroll, followed by a triumphant rendition of the Spirit of Fire leitmotif by strings and vocals. After a brief rest, strings return, accompanied by percussion, in a grave melody, which builds tension as brass and vocals join in. Together they build up to a climatic ending.

Appearances[edit]

The track plays in "Freefall", the opening cutscene of the twelfth Halo Wars campaign level Repairs, when the UNSC Spirit of Fire arrives inside Trove and collides with the Sinaris-pattern heavy destroyer Proclamation's Tithe.

Production notes[edit]

The name Freaked Out is derived from Serina's quote upon the discovery of the shield world interior, "So, am I the only one freaked out by the fact we're inside the planet?"
