Incorruptible was an Varric-pattern heavy cruiser which served within the Covenant fleet.[3]
Background[edit]
It was attached and affixed to the Second Fleet of Homogeneous Clarity[4] and was crewed by Sangheili from the Dn'end Legion.[2]
When the Great Schism started in November 2552, the Incorruptible was transferred into service by a Sangheili-led Covenant remnant faction, and managed to defeat Jiralhanae forces who attacked them.
The Incorruptible was then sent to the planet Onyx, to capture Forerunner technology. They encountered human resistance, and was later destroyed when the Sentinels opened fire on the fleet.`
History[edit]
[edit]
During the 9th Age of Reclamation, the vessel was commanded by Tano 'Inanraree. As a warship attached to the Second Fleet of Homogeneous Clarity,[4] it served to defend the Covenant capital of High Charity in case of attack. Like the rest of its defensive fleet, the Incorruptible followed the holy city to Installation 05, and safeguarded it while the battle raged on the megastructure below.
Great Schism[edit]
Fall of High Charity[edit]
During the Fall of High Charity in November 2552, 'Inanraree had ordered the Incorruptible to be infected by the Flood. As a member of the Governors of Contrition cult, the shipmaster had mistakenly believed the Flood to be a creation of the Forerunners, and as such demanded that they be worshiped. However, this order was cancelled when a crewmember, Major Voro 'Mantakree, stormed the bridge and killed the Shipmaster using a Needler. With the support of the crew, he took control of the vessel.
'Mantakree then fended off attacks from Chieftain Gargantum, who controlled several ships. They then fled to the outpost world Joyous Exultation in the Salia system, heeding the call of Imperial Admiral Xytan 'Jar Wattinree.[5] The Imperial Admiral gave Voro the title of Fleet Master and assigned the Incorruptible as the flagship of a small fleet of 21 ships sent to Onyx to chase the captured destroyer Bloodied Spirit and prevent the humans from taking Forerunner artifacts.
Onyx Conflict[edit]
The Incorruptible, along with its ships, took part in the Onyx Conflict where it was destroyed by HORNET mines laid by the prowler, UNSC Dusk. Anything that remained of the ship or the fleet was destroyed when Lieutenant Commander Kurt Ambrose detonated the FENRIS nuclear warheads and when the trillions of Sentinels destroyed the planet from the inside.
Crew[edit]
Commanding officers[edit]
- Tano 'Inanraree - Former Shipmaster (killed by 'Mantakree)
- Voro Nar 'Mantakree - Shipmaster of the Incorruptible
Bridge crew[edit]
- Uruo 'Losonaee - Operations Officer
- Zasses 'Jeqkogoee - Navigation Officer
- Y'gar 'Pewtrunoee - Communications Officer

- Paruto Xida Konna - Security
- Waruna Xida Yotno - Security
Trivia[edit]
The name of the ship is rather ironic, as the Shipmaster tried to corrupt the ship by letting the Flood on.
