Gallivant Around The Galaxy

Gallivant Around The Galaxy is an Achievement in Halo Wars that is unlocked when the player wins a game on every Skirmish map.

It is worth 25 Gamerscore.[1]

Tips[edit]

Start at the first map on your list and set the game to a 1v1 Deathmatch against Professor Anders on Easy while playing as Captain Cutter.

Use the warthog you start with to ride up close beside the base (out of firing range) and wait for the MAC Cannon to finish loading.

Once it has loaded move into firing range and use all 4 MAC rounds on the center of the base to destroy it. Deploy ODST squads to eliminate the enemy units.

Repeat for every map you haven't won a battle on until the achievement unlocks.

Start on each map on your list and set the game as described above (1v1 Deathmatch against Professor Anders on Easy while playing as Captain Cutter).

Crank out about 5 Warthogs. As they are fully upgraded with Grenadier and Gauss Cannon, they will be a much faster and more effective way to clean the enemy base.

You can either immediately send your first Warthog to the enemy base, or wait until you have two so that the enemy Warthog will be more easily destroyed.

Repeat for every map you haven't won a battle on until the achievement unlocks.
