Viral data scavengers are a series of programs available for download at UNSCTTP://EPWW:COLEPROTOCOL/Virtualscav/fbr.091, to be used in accordance with the Cole Protocol.[1][2] After a commander has deleted the entirety of the navigational database, as well as all on-board computer systems, these scavengers are programmed to perform a final system sweep, purging any remaining data that might have been overlooked. Upon completion of this task, the programs will self-destruct to ensure complete adherence to the Cole Protocol.
