Ectanus 45 is a system that was acting as frontline support for the United Nations Space Command in 2535 during the Human-Covenant War, due to the destruction of most of the Outer Colonies.[1] One of the planets in the system is Chi Rho, which had Vice Admiral Jean Mawikizi in command. Then-Lieutenant Jacob Keyes was assigned to the UNSC Midsummer Night from this system.
