The UNSC Last Gleaming was a starship in service within the United Nations Space Command.[1] Professor Anders was aboard this vessel in early-2531, en-route to Epsilon Indi to get onboard the UNSC Spirit of Fire. During the travel she translated intercepted Covenant communiques, many of which referred to the Arbiter Ripa 'Moramee.[2]
Trivia
- The UNSC Last Gleaming is likely named in reference to a line from the National Anthem of the United States of America: What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
- It is possible that this vessel was a Prowler, as evidenced by its use by the ONI in a highly important mission, lack of interior space which was a common problem in Prowlers, its apparent high slipspace velocity and finally, the angular shape which is common on stealth craft and unusual on other UNSC ships.
