The Mathon Mountain Range was a mountain range on the human Outer Colony of Meridian. Shorty after Meridian's colonization, rich mineral deposits were discovered in the Mathon Mountain Range, leading to a rush of new development across the world as many attempted to gain a profit from the deposits. The discovery also caused success for the Prospector Party, who sought to develop Meridian's surface.[1]
