Vice Admiral Gerov was a flag officer in the UNSC in 2552. He/she had a daughter, Anna Gerov. Captain Keyes thought at one time that then-Lieutenant William Lovell had an affair with Gerov's daughter, and for it he was punished and demoted to Ensign. He was then sent to the remote sensing outpost Archimedes for a number of years.[1]
