After Giraud's entries suggested crimes had been committed by the UNSC to conceal the truth about the Master Chief, Tom mailed Giraud an audio email where he claimed Giraud was a traitor and attention-seeker like any other journalist. He demanded Giraud kill himself by jumping out an airlock naked, and expressed his hatred for all reporters.[2]
