The 11th Shock Troops Battalion (map designate: ODST || 11) is a shock infantry formation of the UNSC Marine Corps that served during the Human-Covenant War. This battalion was garrisoned in the northern Viery territory of the human colony world Reach. During the invasion of the planet in summer 2552, the 11th Battalion served as part of a large joint task force to counter Covenant forces in the Viery Territory.[1] Later, the battalion took part in the siege of New Alexandria.[2]
