The Battle of Theta Ursae Majoris was an engagement that took place in the Theta Ursae Majoris system during the Insurrection.

Battle Group Tango, consisting of four UNSC Destroyers, while in the Theta Ursae Majoris System, engaged an insurgent-controlled vessel, the Bellicose. The Bellicose had been causing trouble for two years prior, and had been continuously pursued by Preston Cole. Although two destroyers were heavily damaged in the battle, the Bellicose was reported to have spun into the gas giant's gravity well and disappeared. It was later revealed to have survived (presumably through a Slipspace jump) and returned to help twice in the Human-Covenant War. [1][2][3]
