- Olympia Vale: "Why did they have a Scorpion? This is UNSC gear."
- Jameson Locke: "Corporate security. Private security for a frontier colony isn't unusual. Surprising to see something this heavy, though."
- — Olympia Vale and Jameson Locke discussing the Liang-Dortmund Scorpion.[2]
The Corp Scorpion is a variant of the M820 Scorpion main battle tank platform employed by the Liang-Dortmund Corporation for security of their corporate interests.[2]
Design details[edit]
- Main article: M820 Scorpion
The Corp Scorpion is one of many milspec pieces of hardware authorised for the Liang-Dortmund security force to employ for the security of its corporate interests on remote installations.[3] The vehicle is rebranded with the corproate yellow colour scheme and additional armour plating.[4]
Operational history[edit]
By 2558, Corporate Scorpion tanks were employed by the Liang-Dortmund corporation for security and defense of Apogee Station on Meridian. During the Created attack on Meridian in 2558, one such vehicle was present at the station and operated by William Khaleed. During the battle, Khaleed and Luiz Santiago were asked by Governor Sloan to hand operation of the vehicle over to Fireteam Osiris, as they would "get more use out of it".[2]
Gameplay[edit]
The Corp Scorpion appears in Halo 5: Guardians as a vehicle REQ card available for use in the Warzone and Warzone Firefight gamemodes via the requisition system, and is also useable in Forge and custom games. In Warzone, the Corp Scorpion REQ card has the following attributes;
- Rarity: Rare
- Level: 6
In regards to stats, the Corp Scorpion variants have 15% more health than a standard Scorpion, lower than all other Scorpion variants but higher than the standard Scorpion.[5]
