Classification Discussion
It has been conjecturalized to be a CCS-class battlecruiser or Supercruiser because of its luxury and velocity, but since the Covenant fleet that attacked Earth in the First Battle of Earth consisted of two Assault Carriers and thirteen Covenant Cruisers, and the Begotten Angel couldn't have been an Assault Carrier because of its classification of a cruiser, the Begotten Angel must be a CAR-class heavy cruiser.
