Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained is the fifth exclusive track in the Halo Wars: Original Soundtrack Bonus DVD.

Overview[edit]

The track opens with synthesizers playing in ambiance, with low strings playing a brief melody. Digital effects cut in before strings and percussion abruptly enter playing a heavy melody, building up into a climatic ending.

Appearances[edit]

The track plays in "Safe as Houses", the beginning cutscene of the third Halo Wars campaign level Relic Interior, when Ellen Anders and John Forge accessed the relic on Harvest before being ambushed by Stealth Sangheili.

Production notes[edit]

The name Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained is derived from Ellen Anders' credo, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained".
