Ambient Wonder is the seventh track in Halo: Original Soundtrack.
Overview[edit]
It is defined by a constant, steady to slowly modulating synthesizer tone approximating the sound of an upbeat jazz organ. At 00:14, a slight undertone of shifting higher notes begins to show under the synth melody. Over the next few minutes, these two parts blend and weave together to produce a soft, ambient piece reminiscent of (and based on) the main Halo Theme.
Appearances[edit]
The track can be heard in the level The Truth and Reconciliation, when the UNSC forces enters Truth and Reconciliation through the gravity lift, and when they enter the bridge.
Arrangements[edit]
It is arranged into the following:
- Orbit of Glass and Opening Volley of the Sacred Icon Suite in Halo 2: Original Soundtrack.
- Still, Moving in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Original Soundtrack.
