Freaked Out is the fifteenth track in Halo Wars: Original Soundtrack.
Overview
The track opens with a short drumroll, followed by a triumphant rendition of the Spirit of Fire leitmotif by strings and vocals. After a brief rest, strings return, accompanied by percussion, in a grave melody, which builds tension as brass and vocals join in. Together they build up to a climatic ending.
Appearances
The track plays in "Freefall", the opening cutscene of the twelfth Halo Wars campaign level Repairs, when the UNSC Spirit of Fire arrives inside the Etran Harborage and collides with the CPV-class heavy destroyer Proclamation's Tithe.
Production notes
The name Freaked Out is derived from Serina's quote upon the discovery of the shield world interior, "So, am I the only one freaked out by the fact we're inside the planet?"
