The Stasis Field Glitch can be done as you play through the Halo 3 campaign level Cortana and reach the part where you rescue Cortana. Once you enter the room where Cortana is trapped in the Stasis Field, watch the cutscene and once its finished, hit the pedestal where the Stasis Field was, and it should make the 'sizzle' noise that happens when you hit energy shields, but there is no visible Stasis Field.
In the Halo 3 Campaign level Cortana, after the cutscene where the Master Chief rescues Cortana, melee the pedestal where Cortana was. It should make the 'sizzle' noise that happens when you hit energy shields, but there is no visible stasis field.

The stasis field glitch is a sound error present in Halo 3's Campaign. The glitch causes the wrong sound to play on specific occasions.

Walkthrough[edit]

In the Halo 3 Campaign level Cortana, after the cutscene where the Master Chief rescues Cortana, melee the pedestal where Cortana was. It should make the 'sizzle' noise that happens when you hit energy shields, but there is no visible stasis field.
