Trivia[edit]
The name of the achievement is taken from an ancient Greek phrase said by the relatives of Spartan warriors before they departed for battle. If they died in battle, they would be carried back on their shields, and if they were victorious they would keep their shield. Either was more honorable than returning without it as it often meant they discarded it to run faster while fleeing the battlefield.
