In 2555, a countdown to the activation of the Halo Array was discovered on Installation 07. 000 Tragic Solitude, the rampant monitor of Installation 00, had initialized the sequence after deciding that humanity was unfit to hold the Mantle of Responsibility due to their violent nature. In response, the UNSC and Swords of Sanghelios initiated Operation: Far Storm, a joint mission that would have them return to the Ark and prevent the firing of the Halo Array once more. Upon arriving at the far-flung installation, the group encountered dangers and challenges unlike any they had faced before.
