Myriad were a Lekgolo Captain pair in service of the Banished. They were present on Installation 07 in early 2560 where they were part of the Fifth Lance, First Combat Element, in the Hordeworms of Svir. Here they were killed by John-117.[1]

Biography

Following the Human-Covenant War particular strains of Mgalekgolo, of which Myriad was one pair along with the Swarmlords, underwent a behavioral evolution trending towards a more individualized identtity and intelligence. This was a diversion from the usual order-following hivemind of typical Mgalekgolo. [2]

During the Installation 07 conflict, the pair came under attention of the UNSC for previously having been responsible for the deaths of 2 full Spartan-IV squads. This and their increased intelligence and independance directly led to them being identified as a potential target of opportunity by the Weapon and subsequently killed by the Master Chief.[1]
