Challenges in Halo Infinite are daily and weekly objectives that players can complete for experience points (XP), which contributes to progression on the Halo Infinite Battle Passes. Challenges can be earned in multiplayer.[1]

Overview

Daily and weekly challenges are randomly assigned to players. Challenges are available in three tiers of difficulties, with corresponding levels of XP rewards.

Daily challenges are refreshed everyday. In the first and easiest "Normal Challenge" tier, challenges can be completed for completing any multiplayer matchmaking games, including Bot Arena. After having completed all of the challenges at the "Normal" tier, players progress into the second "Heroic Challenge" tier, in which challenges reward more XP but require playing PVP matches. Upon completion of the challenges at the "Heroic" tier, players progress into the "Legendary" tier, in which challenges reward even more XP, but require winning PVP matches. Each set of daily challenges will reset to the lowest tier each day.[1]

Every week, each player is assigned a set of random 20 weekly challenges, selected from a pool of 700 potential challenges. By default, all players can have three slots for active challenges at any given time, but a fourth challenge slot will be available to players that have purchased the Premium Battle Pass. Upon the completion of an active challenge, another weekly challenge will take its place, until all 20 challenges have been completed. Players will be able to use the Challenge Swaps consumable to exchange a weekly challenge for a new challenge from the same tier.[1]

When a player has completed all Weekly Challenges in a week, an Ultimate Challenge becomes available for completion, which is the same for every player each week. Completing the weekly Ultimate Challenge will reward the player with a unique weekly Ultimate reward such as a weapon coating, an armor coating, or an emblem.[1]
