Battle Born: A Halo Young Adult Novel Series is a series of novels written by Cassandra Rose Clarke and published by Scholastic. The series follows a group of adolescents surviving the Battle of Meridian alongside Spartan Owen-B096.
The series currently consists of two novels, with a third novel planned but cancelled by the publisher.[1]
Synopsis
Halo: Battle Born

Halo: Battle Born, written by Cassandra Rose Clarke and released January 2019, follows four teenagers Saskia, Evie, Victor, and Dorian surviving a Covenant invasion of their home with the help of Spartan Owen-B096.
Halo: Meridian Divide

The 2020 direct sequel follows the protagonists of the last book as they're sent on a mission back to their hometown on Meridian to monitor the Covenant's efforts to retrieve an ancient Forerunner artifact of untold power.
