They are infamous for their brutality - even to fellow soldiers.[1] On one occasion, ODSTs from the 105th got into a fight with SPARTAN-117, as a result three of the ODSTs were killed.[2]

History
The 105th was around as early as 2525. Detatchments of the soldiers have been on a number of ships, including the UNSC Atlas.
As of 2525, the 105th was the only ODST unit in service. However, as the war against the Covenant expanded, the number of ODSTs has swelled, and there are several divisions. However, the SPARTAN-II unit still has more confirmed kills than any three ODST divisions put together.
