The XM510 Multishot Grenade Launcher was a shoulder-fired, semi-automatic grenade launcher used by the UNSC Marine Corps during the Human-Covenant War.[1] The XM510 saw use throughout the early years of the conflict in the Outer Colonies.
Trivia
- A Grenadier upgrade for the Warthog in Halo Wars adds a Marine equipped with an XM510 in the passenger seat. This enhancement improves the attack strength of the vehicle.[1]
- The Official Strategy Guide for the game mistakenly refers to the "XM511 Heavy Grenade Launcher" as the "XM510" in a caption describing the weapon mounted on the M9 Wolverine tank.[2]
- The XM510's design is based directly off of the South African-built Milkor MGL Mk.1 and the later M32 MGL variant used by the United States Marine Corps.
